All creches are hand made from reclaimed wood recovered from vintage wooden trunks.  The only thing I have done to the patina is a light stain on the edges that were cut by the saw.  All the stains, nails, nail holes, gouges and age of the wood are all natural from years of regular use.  This makes all the creches one of a kind.  They may have similar shapes, but each one is hand designed, cut and a little sanded.  Sometimes I have re-used the original nails but most of the time I use glue, small screws and brads.  
 A small strand of fairy lights is included with each creche.  The nativity figurines are optional. 
 
This open-backed creche is 17 inches wide and 7.5 inches deep. 
The roof peaks at 10.5 inches, slopes to the left down to 4.25 inches makes the creche a total of 22 inches wide. 
 
People: They are all made from vintage chalkware and includes 12 pieces:  Mary, 
Mary is approximately 3.375 inches tall and 2 inches wide. 
Joseph is approximately 3.375 inches tall, 2.25 inches wide and does not have his original staff.   
Baby Jesus is approximately 1.5 inches wide, 2 inches long and 1.5 inches tall. 
The angel is approximately 1.75 inches wide and 3 inches tall. 
The wise men are all approximately 1.75 inches wide and range from 3.5 inches tall to 4.25 inches. 
The shepherd, carrying the lamb, is approximately 1.5 inches wide and 4.25 inches tall. 
The small lamb is 1.5 inches wide and 1 inch tall while the other one is approximately 1.75 inches wide and 1.25 inches tall. 
Each cow is approximately 4.75 inches wide with the small one 2.25 inches tall and the other at 2.75 inches tall. Each cow has one broken horn.
